Sparrow-Farwell

The Sparrow-Farwell Preserve consists of two preserves donated to MLT. The Sparrow Preserve was gifted to the Mattapoisett Land Trust in 2013 by the estate of Sarah and Frank Sparrow and their heirs. It is a long and narrow strip of woodland that equates to around 4.52 acres.

The Farwell Preserve is 6.87 acres of forested land that was donated to MLT in 2022 from the Estates of Donald Farwell and Beverly Farwell. It abuts the Sparrow Preserve, so MLT acknowledges both properties together as the Sparrow-Farwell Preserve.

The Sparrow-Farwell Preserve can be accessed from Bay Club Drive, but does not have any maintained trails or access points. Do not use the Bay Club parking area.
