50th Anniversary Fundraiser
As the Mattapoisett Land Trust marks its 50th year, we celebrate a half-century of preserving and protecting our environment. With over 900 acres safeguarded, we’ve been guardians of environmentally sensitive areas, critical wildlife habitat, and coastal wetlands in Mattapoisett. As we reflect on our achievements, we look to the future. Please read about our Operations Support Endowment fundraising initiative that we have embarked on this year.

We use the money we raise to acquire land for permanent conservation and to care for the land we own. We maintain Dunseith Gardens, Tub Mill, Schoolman Park, and the Munro Waterfront park. We build and maintain trails, perform tree maintenance, and remove invasives at our preserves. And we put on free education programs to connect young people to nature and the outdoors.
