MLT has recently ‘gone green’ with our stewardship and trail maintenance equipment. In light of research on the pollution caused by 2-cycle engines, MLT had a board motion this winter to purchase battery operated tools to maintain our trails. Thanks to a grant from Eversource and a generous donation from a private donor, we were able to buy all new equipment!
Come to Dunseith Gardens on the corner of Rt. 6 and North St. on Sunday June 25th at 10:00am for an Electric Tools Workshop with MLT. Ask questions, see the equipment, and see demonstrations of the equipment. We hope to educate people on the benefits of switching from 2-cycle equipment to battery powered and will be showing off some of the newest battery powered technology available from Stihl. This will be a great opportunity of land owners, landscapers, and gardeners alike!
