DESCRIPTION:Please join us for a fall Welcome Walk at the new Alves-Bucciarelli Preserve! Mattapoisett Land Trust acquired this new preserve in 2022 and we have spent the last year cleaning up and reimagining this riverfront preserve. Come see how things have turned out and take a walk at the new Preserve! \nMeet at the trailhead on Mattapoisett Neck Road\, between #3 and #7 Mattapoisett Neck Road at 10am on Monday October 9th. We will take a walk through the trails of the property\, see the new kayak landing\, view before photos of the property to talk about what MLT has done since acquiring the preserve\, and enjoy a nice fall morning. Refreshments will be served. Please RSVP below so we can get a good headcount for refreshments. \nLong pants and walking/hiking shoes are recommended.

DESCRIPTION:Fall is the perfect time to get in touch with your senses outside. The crisp air\, the crunchy leaves. Join MLT for our fall mindfulness walk. \nLed by yoga nidra instructor\, Carly Baumann\, we will talk a relaxing and reinvigorating walk out in nature. Carly will use her expertise to guide everyone on a slow-paced hike where you’ll get to explore all of your senses out in nature. \nMeet at the Prospect Road parking lot at 10am and we will take a walk on the yellow trail in our Old Aucoot District. This is open to all people of all abilities. Wear sturdy footwear and dress for the weather. This walk will happen rain or shine. \nPlease RSVP below. We hope to see you there!

SUMMARY:Salty's Soiree
DESCRIPTION:Our annual fall celebration\, Salty’s Soiree will take place Saturday October 28th this year. From 5:30-7:30pm\, join MLT for fall fun at Dunseith Gardens\, located on the corner of Rt. 6 and North St. We will have a bonfire\, s’mores making\, and some awesome stories provided by storyteller\, Diane Edgecomb! Bring the whole family down for an unforgetable evening under the full moon. \nParking is not available on site. Please park elsewhere in the village and walk to the park. Do not park at other businesses or establishments if they do not offer public parking. We suggest bringing a flashlight so you can find your way back to your car safely at the end of the night.
