DESCRIPTION:Mass Audubon is teaming up with the Mattapoisett Land Trust for a family hike to explore the saltmarsh. Stroll with us as we explore and search for evidence of animals and investigate the unique habitat that is crucial for so many different plants and animals in the region. \nThis walk will be held at the Brandt Island Cove District. The walk will go from 9:00 -11:00am. Meet at the kiosk on Anchorage Way and park on the street. \nWear sturdy footwear\, dress for the weather\, and bring your binoculars. DESCRIPTION:Join MLT and experienced nature photographer Jonathan Sharlin for a Photography Walk. Jonathan is from Rhode Island and has been a professional photographer for 45 years. Come meet Jonathan on Wednesday July 19th at 10:00am at Tub Mill park for a casual photography walk. This is perfect for experienced photographers as a chance to get outdoors and practice their craft\, as well as newer photographers who would benefit from hearing some of Jonathan’s tips and tricks for photographing nature. \nJonathan recommends bringing a tripod\, a cable release\, and neutral density filter if you have these items. \nSee Jonathan’s work here. \nPlease RSVP below.
